To create something really special – which, in artistic terms, would combine a sense of process, with a certain level of chance and spontaneity – Nicolas Andreas Taralis, came up with a bold concept that was clearly not for the faint hearted.

Utilising his classic 80s car, a DeLorean, he drove over the shoes, leaving distinct tyre marks upon them. Taralis then took a series of photographs of the vehicle, which were tucked into the shoe box alongside this freshly “road tested” footwear.

In tandem with this, Taralis (who, once more with our collaboration, would later go on to head-up the design team at Cerruti) engaged Tzenkoff to assist in clarifying the spirit of his own label, and identify appropriate routes by which he could promote his vision.

We thereafter presented him with a detailed strategy to successfully implement our findings. Taralis subsequently commissioned Tzenkoff to develop and oversee the concept and design of his internet site, and to successfully launch it online.
