A patissier, chocolate and ice cream maker of considerable acclaim, caterer Sebastien Gaudard – formerly the head of Fauchon, following Pierre Hermé’s departure – then opened the Delicabar restaurant, in the prestigious Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche department store, on Paris’ Left Bank.

After making a memorable success of this wonderfully adventurous concept, Gaudard took the decision to close Delicabar, in order to focus once more on working on new projects under his own name.

By developing and establishing a range of eponymous products, Sébastien Gaudard’s newest creations offer an unapologetically cutting-edge sensibility – one which demands suitably avant-garde positioning, to distinguish it from more conservative competitors.

In order to inject a sense of energy and elegance into 123’s advertising campaign, Tzenkoff collaborated with legendary photographer Terry Richardson.

The resulting series of images – shot in and around Gramercy Park, in New York, where Terry grew up – was inspired not only by Richardson’s work for French Vogue, but also the photographic work of his father, Bob Richardson.

The campaign has subsequently elevated 123 to new, exciting levels of success – earning the brand much new-found respect, and garnering many extremely positive responses within the media.
